Happy Spooky Sunday!
Here’s the thing- it’s Halloween. I can’t say I’m a huge Halloween freak. It’s a holiday; it happens; I’m just not one for dressing up and watching scary movies. I’m more of a Christmas-cookie-and-holiday-music kind of girl. However, I can still get into the spooky spirit with pumpkins and lattes and all the fall things, right?
Today, my family and I embarked on our yearly tradition of getting our Halloween pumpkins from our favorite little roadside shack. Among Northeast Ohio’s plentiful family-oriented pumpkin patches, we chose this little place. It’s not what I’d call glamorous, but there’s always a story to tell.
It’s a funny family tradition that I hope stays around for a while. And I’m awfully excited to be back in my winter sweaters and gearing up for the snowy season.
Funny story- as soon as we opened up the trunk when we got home, my brother’s pumpkin splattered in the garage. The last picture is of him holding the stem and his donuts. Classic.
What are your plans for this Halloween? Let me know in the comments! <3 And, if you’re dressing up, let me know what your costume is! I’ll be going as the scariest of them all…myself! 😉
I love you guys! Thanks for reading! <3
