Twice-Baked Savory Sweet Potatoes Recipe!

Twice-Baked Savory Sweet Potatoes Recipe!

Happy Thanksgiving, lovelies!

Today, I prepared some quick and easy sweet potato fries as a Thanksgiving appetizer/side. I took inspiration from this recipe. Send me pictures if you decide to make this dish!

Ingredients:

2-4 yams, washed (peeled optional)

Paprika

Black Pepper

Salt

Garlic Powder

Olive Oil

Procedure:

Preheat oven on high. Wash each yam and slit the skin. Wrap in foil and bake for one hour.

Remove yams from oven and slice into thin fries. (Be careful not to cut yourself!)

Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking oil. Drizzle fries with olive oil and sprinkle with spices (black pepper, salt, paprika, and garlic powder).

Bake again until crispy and serve.

That’s it! These healthy “fries” are perfect for Thanksgiving or just as a yummy side dish. I love yams so I thought I would share my favorite way to eat them!

I wanted to get this post up early, so I haven’t actually baked my own potatoes yet…that is why there is no “end result” picture. I’ll be sure to share it on the @heavenleepennys Instagram tonight! 🙂

Thanks for reading! Happy Thanksgiving! <3

XO,

Grace
