“Ice Queen” Winter Makeup Tutorial!

“Ice Queen” Winter Makeup Tutorial!

Happy Friday!

Now that the holiday season is in full swing, I decided to create a winter-inspired makeup tutorial for you. I have worn this look out a few times and I love the way it looks for the colder weather. It has a lot of cool, silver tones which match the snow perfectly! Enjoy. 🙂

First, apply your face makeup. My routine hasn’t changed much over the last few months, so if you want an idea of what I do, click here.

For the eyes, start off with a taupe, silvery shade on your eyelids.

Then, apply a darker gray to your outer corner and crease.

I applied a purple-gray color to my outer V, which didn’t do much, but you can add it if you want.

Line your upper and lower lashlines with a black pencil eyeliner.

Finish off the eyes with a light vanilla shadow to highlight your browbone and a coat of mascara on your upper and lower lashes. You can add falsies if you’re going for a full-on glam look, but since I was wearing this for an everyday makeup look I just wore mascara.

I applied some white highlighter from the Carli Bybel palette to the high points of my face. It adds to the ethereal, “icy” look we are going for!

I applied the Bobbi Brown lipstick in the shade “Uber Pink” for a subdued pop of color. You can also opt for black lipstick for this look, or a bright red if you’re going out.

Here is the finished look! I am super awkward when it comes to selfies so don’t judge…haha.
