Hello, my dears!
I am a very tough critic when it comes to movies. Really. There aren’t many that I love. So when I like a movie enough to write a blog post on it, it must be pretty darn good.
Here is a list of my top ten favorites:
Breakfast at Tiffany’s: A classic. This movie is honestly my mood all the time and I can’t even explain all the details I love about it, just go watch Holly Golightly exist in this movie and you’ll see what I mean.
The Devil Wears Prada: This movie is so funny in a way that’s not trying to hard to be funny. It never gets old even though I can quote the entire thing. I’ve literally watched this movie in every situation imaginable (in a house, with a mouse, on the plane, on the train) and it has to be one of my all-time favorites.
Baby Driver: I thought I would hate this movie, but Mr. Ansel Augustus Waters Elgort has stolen my heart in this action film. <3
Before I Fall: I read this book before the movie came out, and it makes me feel really emotional but I love that it’s very relatable for high school students.
If I Stay: I also read this book a long time ago, and loved it because it was about music and relationships based on music. This movie also makes me cry a lot. Honestly the crying is inevitable the second I click on this movie to watch.
August Rush: This is a really interesting movie, also about music, that is heartwarming and really special.
The Martian: This movie is so entertaining and cool. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should go watch it because I’m convinced it’s one of those movies that anyone would like.
Easy A: This movie is just funny and light, a good Saturday afternoon kind of pastime. And I just love Emma Stone in it!
21 Jump Street: Okay, this movie is a tad inappropriate, but it’s hilarious. If you’re of a mature age, you should totally watch it with your friends in someone’s basement.
The Intern: This movie is really sweet and the plot is simple, straightforward, and easy to follow. A.K.A. what I look for in movies.
And those are my top ten favorites! What’s your favorite movie? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
Thanks for reading!
