Q: How did you come up with the name/does it have any special significance? A: Abbey was the name she had when we adopted her.
Q: How old is your pet? A: Around two years old.
Q: When did you get your pet? A: Fall 2016.
Q: What breed is your pet? A: Treeing walker coonhound.
Q: How old were you when you got your pet? A: Sixteen.
Q: How did you get your pet? A: Through a local rescue organization called Amy’s Adoptables.
Q: What is your pet’s favorite food? A: Literally everything.
Q: What is your pet’s favorite game? A: Taking someone’s seat as soon as they get up.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do together? A: Watch bad reality TV.
Q: Do you go outdoors? If so, what is your favorite place to go together? A: Abbey likes to go outside but hates the car, so her favorite place is the yard.
Q: What is a bad habit that your pet has? A: Stealing the cat food.
Q: What is the best thing about your pet? A: She’s so sweet and empathetic.
Q: What is the naughtiest thing your pet has ever done? A: Ate said cat food.
Q: What is the funniest memory involving your pet? A: Honestly just her facial expressions, they’re hilarious. She also is obsessed with our tuxedo cat and likes to sleep under a blanket like a little old lady.
Q: What is the best memory involving your pet? A: The night I met her, I came home from an away football game and the first thing I saw were her gigantic ears.
Q: What is the hardest thing about being a pet owner? A: Keeping her from harassing the cats. Abbey loves cats.
