Minimalist-Ish

Hello friends!

Since I published my spring cleaning post a few weeks ago, I have been purging old belongings like crazy. It’s so refreshing. I’m trying to adopt a more “minimalistic” approach because, well, life isn’t all about having stuff.

Letting go of all my junk and clutter has freed up my mind to focus on things like AP exams, etc….

And it always feels good giving away items I don’t love anymore to donation centers where people who might love it more can have it.

It’s so much easier to find things and keep track of what I have. I love being able to keep everything clean and organized without having too much excess stuff.

I usually only hold on to things that bring me happiness or serve a purpose. Otherwise, it’s time to part ways.

Aaaand I’m also trying to be a more mindful spender and save money instead of blowing all my hard-earned cash on things I’ll probably end up throwing away.

I’m not becoming a full-blown minimalist, but I think there’s something to be said for living with less.

Over to you! Does a good closet cleanout feel great every now and then? Or does parting ways with old belongings stress you out? Leave a comment! 🙂

Thanks for reading!

XO,

Grace

After reading The Year of Less & Marie Kondo’s cleaning book, I’ve started paring things down – not necessarily to live minimally but to own thoughtfully. I want to only keep things that I love or truly need!

I completely agree! It’s so refreshing to only hold on to things that you need/bring you joy. I will definitely check that book out. Thanks for reading! 🙂
